Building the world we seek.
While we fight to defend what remains, we are building the world we seek. Standing up for the water, the land, the two-legged, the winged, the fish, all of the beings in the web is how we carry our prayers into action. So is walking a good path and building a community that will last.
Land Back is liberation.
We are modeling what we seek through a value system older than colonialism, though practices that demand walking with empathy and personal growth, through spiritual healing and wellness to stand up for the sacred.
Each year, Giniw Collective hosts several fellowship cohorts to share skills, repair relationships with nature, and center wellness in an Indigenous-led space. We continuously provide mutual aid and a safe community space alongside our work to protect the sacred.
To reclaim our place in the web of life, we must also reclaim ourselves.
